Further Genotyping Kits

INTER-ARRAY genotyping with microarrays is robust, inexpensive and fast, differentiates between identical and clonally related strains and captures the core genome and varying genes. The combination of rapid genome sequencing of selected isolates with high-throughput bacterial typing allows many questions from the areas of hygiene monitoring, outbreak management, infection research and epidemiology to be answered.

INTER-ARRAY offers a variety of genotyping kits for sale, but also the development of customer-specific kits in the field of human and veterinary medicine. In addition to the INTER-ARRAY Genotyping Kit S. aureus, the following kits are available:

INTER-ARRAY Genotyping Kit CarbaResist

The INTER-ARRAY Genotyping Kit CarbaResist enables DNA-based detection of the most abundant carbapenemase genes from bacterial cultures. In addition, other prevalent beta-lactamase genes and genes associated with aminoglycoside, colistin, macrolide, quinolone, sulfonamide, and trimethoprim resistance can be detected. Some of the more relevant Gram-negative species (Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, etc.) can also be identified.

INTER-ARRAY Genotyping Kit E. coli total

The INTER-ARRAY Genotyping Kit E. coli total provides a rapid and simple method for detecting important virulence genes of Escherichia coli (E. coli). In this assay, genomic DNA is also extracted from an overnight bacterial culture and labeled with biotin-dUTP using a linear amplification protocol. The resulting biotin-labeled ssDNA is transferred to the microarray and hybridized to DNA sequences for various genetic markers on DNA oligonucleotide microarrays. After staining and automatic readout in the INTER-ARRAY reader, a report is generated.
